Wednesday 23rd Feb Capernwray

only 12 people at capernwray and 5 from our club whist the air temp mild weather rain and water temp freezing 4 deg
Getting in took some doing to overcome the cold on my head
Alex did his first open water dive and spent 40 mins swimming along the 6m ledge visiting the plane for a swim through.
A fantastic day for him his folks should be so proud of him

Sunday 13th Feb Capernwray

Another very cold day at Capernwray but a hardy crew brave the cold to "enjoy" freeflow after freeflow 6 in all.

Sunday 29th January

many thank's to all, divers and shore cover, for turning up today, given the conditions, and cold, it was an enjoyable morning, conditions like these add to your experience, how easy will diving in egypt or the med be after a session in 'the costa del baildon'!!!

Tuesday 11th Jan club

the clubhouse suffered a burst water pipe in the ceiling void and damaged the ceiling and the dance floor
Ian and Megan passed their sport diver exam.

Sunday 9th January 2011 Capernwray

7 hardy members braved the cold and snow to visit Capernwray and do some sport diver training 5 had freeflows and learnt how to asend breathing from a freeflowing DV
All in all a great day out.

Sunday Dec 12th Ice Dive

12 people turned up at Baildon to dive under the ice a big thaw for the last few days meant that only the middle res was frozen however it still enabled all to have a good time although some were very cold
It is about 8 years since we last were able to experience ice diving in Baildon
